Job Title: Vehicle Controls Engineer (ANAHEIM, CA and Greenville, SC)

Job Summary:

Algorithm Development: Design and develop real-time embedded software for EV control systems, including powertrain, battery management systems (BMS), charging systems, and thermal management. Implement control algorithms for electric motors, inverters, and energy storage systems to ensure efficient power delivery and energy use. Optimize con-trol logic to improve vehicle performance, driving experience, and energy consumption. System Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with various electrical and mechanical systems. Work on developing and refin-ing communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) between vehicle systems. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute software testing plans, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations, vehicle-level testing, and unit testing. Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues during development and testing phases. Ensure compliance with in-dustry safety standards (ISO 26262, ASIL). Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor system performance and energy efficiency through software and sensor data analysis. Perform continuous tuning and optimization of vehicle control systems to enhance effi-ciency and reliability. Documentation: Prepare detailed software documentation, including design specifications, flowcharts, and user manuals. Maintain version control and manage software releases in alignment with development timelines. Require travel between two key locations Anaheim, CA (60% of the time), and Greenville, SC (40% of the time).

Skills and Requirements:

U.S. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science. 24 months work experience of Engineer. Full-Time. USD100000.
