Position Overview
The manufacturing supervisor will report to the production manager. The manufacturing supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of manufacturing associates within the manufacturing team. The manufacturing supervisor is responsible for in-station and out of station work by associates as it pertains to manufacturing needs. The supervisor will be responsible for making sure that daily tasks and goals are met within assigned stations. The supervisor will work with the production manager to make sure that all schedules and goals are met in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Assign tasks to manufacturing associates
- Work with the ME team on WIS corrections as needed
- Oversee the station tasks to ensure that they are being performed at a high level
- Own in station build quality
- Communicate with other manufacturing supervisors for daily planning
- Report out completed work and/or issues within assigned stations
- Perform corrective actions as described by the Phoenix handbook
- Handle all time and attendance issues that may arise from their direct reports
- Approve time of requests as they are submitted
- Approve time worked for pay period
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree is preferred but not required
- 5 to 10 years team lead or supervisor experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to create daily plans to meet goals
- Prior military service a plus but not required
- PC Applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Solidworks

- Mechanical Aptitude
- CDL a plus
- Forklift cert a plus
