14 Passenger, All-Electric Shuttle Bus Will be Used to Provide Clean Transport and Will Save More than 60 Tons of CO2 Each Year 

Ontario, CA. (March 4, 2015) – Phoenix Cars LLC., a developer of electric vehicle technologies for the fleet market, today announced the delivery of the first of four (4) Zero Emissions Utility Shuttle (ZEUS) to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) campus in Pasadena, California. The 14 passenger, fully electric bus will be used to transport NASA/JPL employees around the Pasadena campus facilities. Phoenix estimates the bus will help reduce campus greenhouse gas emissions, saving more than 60 tons of CO2 annually versus a conventional diesel powered shuttle.

The electric shuttle is powered by the Phoenix proprietary EV platform, which can deliver 100 mile range and can complete a full charge in as little as 3 hours. The Phoenix ZEUS is California Air Resource Board (CARB) approved and eligible for California HVIP cash incentives.
